Warm sun shines through the window of the living room.
Should I wake my Husky out of hibernation?
Her battery probably needs a charge.
I dress warm and go out.
After 2 seconds the engine starts. Regarding the long standing time, this is completely ok.
First the Husky vibrates a lot. Everything works a bit stiff. I have to get used to it again.
Leaving the warm city (on-board computer shows +6°C) I soon see the snow again.
The streets in the valleys are wet and (in the shadow) perhaps frozen.
I don't want to try it, take it easy. Just catch some fresh air.
I ride up the Elmsteiner Tal, which is usually prohibited for bikes from March to Oktober.
It end at the famous motorbike meeting point Johanniskreuz.
So far I have not seen a single motorcyclist, neither now.
The road to Hermersberger Hof is a small beautiful forest road of minor importance.
The road is still beautiful white. Here the computer indicates 0.5°C.
A few hundred meters further, I see cars turning around.
I know there is a 12% incline, with standard road tires and as I am out of exercise, I turn around too.
