Op het youtube kanaal reizen twee mensen met een APE50 camper naar Italië. Ik dacht altijd dat een APE 50 voor een persoon is.

Hard to believe! On our summer tour to Romania, two Ape50 tried to follow. They resigned in the Austrian foothills, because they could not even maintain 10kph in the inclines. Frequently 5-8kph even in a modest incline. There are many videos from "Hubi" driving through Austria online, sometimes his Ape came to a stop and rolled backwards. And they were not equipped as campers and only loaded with a single person.
Official technical data of the Ape50 are 1.9kW and weight 500kg. That's less power and much more weight than a cheap chinese scoot which supermarkets offer.
In the video they said 50kph, which is far beyond the official top of 38kph. So I think, they tweaked the engine. Maybe a 70cc?

Almost right. They were speaking in one of the other clips of installing 80cc.

When I was young we had in Germany the Kleinkraftrad: 50cc and no speed limit. Normally they produced 6,5PS and were good of a speed of 85km/h. Once the Leichtkraftrad with 80cc was legallized, the last 50cc models were sold as street legal factory racers with top speed of 120km/h and the engine lasted maximaal 3000km.

On youtube you find many Ape ´s as camper and being transported in a horse trailer.

Here in Holland they are sold and converted to become a food truck: either for espresso, for ice cream, or to carry a barbecue.

They also have an electric drive chain. They are sold and converted in the next village.

I'd rather take an Ape TM Diesel.
I have a lot of Apes (tuktuk in S-India and Thailand, auto in N-India) in my neighbourhood, because there are a lot of Keralites here.
In Munich I also met someone, who came all the way from Hariyana (near Delhi/India).
